What we did…

Phase I involved quantifying the potential size of the commercial prize for the CHC client on the African continent, based on a top-down strategic modelling exercise. In Phase II, a VBM project team with a high level of relevant previous experience in African markets was established and tasked with developing a strategic plan to realise the opportunity. The plan clearly addressed brand portfolio, registration strategy, route to market, supply chain model and commercial activation to give credibility to delivering the vision.


In 2015 a team was established in the region to implement the strategy and the client’s business in Africa is now starting to contribute to the overall growth of Emerging Markets Region.

Thanks to VBM for the first time we have a credible and clearly defined strategy for growing our business in Africa.
